“Singer Ashabi Simple Begs God To Prevent Death From Separating Her And Portable”

Singer Portable’s fourth wife, actress Ashabi Simple, has opened up about her marriage in an emotional social media post.

Ashabi, whose real name is Omobolarinde Akinyanju, is a Nollywood actress and mother to at least two of Portable’s children. Their relationship was publicly confirmed by the singer during their child’s naming ceremony. Since then, Ashabi has frequently shared heartfelt messages about their life together, describing Portable as a loving and graceful partner.

In her latest post, she reflected on how every moment with her husband feels like a gift. She also admitted to feeling weak and exhausted, pleading with God to prevent untimely death from separating them. In her words: “With you, every moment is a gift. Lately, I’m just weak and tired. God, I’m pleading don’t separate us with untimely death. I love us so much.”

Ashabi previously went viral after a video circulated in which local men recognized her as the singer’s wife, noting that while she did not always present herself in that way, the title seemed to follow her. She has also expressed concerns about health matters in the past, particularly regarding sexually transmitted diseases, following reports of Portable marrying another woman.
