Social Media Storm: Dami Foreign Apologises To Tiwa Savage Over Controversial Tweets
According to reports, social media influencer Dami Foreign has issued a public apology to afrobeats star Tiwa Savage after facing backlash for comments about her son. The controversy erupted when Dami shared a video of the singer and her child, captioned: “Omo, why’s Tiwa Savage’s son frowning?” The post quickly drew criticism from online users and prompted a direct response from Savage. On X, she warned the influencer against making further references to her child, stating that any future posts could escalate beyond social media.
Hours later, Dami Foreign acknowledged Savage’s reaction and expressed regret for any offense caused. He clarified that his comments were not intended to be harmful and apologised for the public upset generated by his post. In a statement to the singer, he wrote: “Dear @TiwaSavage, I’m sorry if you got offended by some of the tweets I made about you. You must be very angry and hurt for you to have called me out. I want you to know that I don’t mean any harm for you or your son. There are lots of positive tweets I’ve made about you that you’ve probably never seen. I promise, it’s all love from this side. I sincerely apologise.”
