State-By-State Breakdown Of ADC Presidential Primaries Won By Atiku Emerges Viral

According to Ireporter Online, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has emerged victorious in the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primary election ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Atiku secured a total of 1,846,370 votes, defeating former Rivers State Governor and ex-Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, who came second with 504,117 votes, while businessman Mohammed Hayatu-Deen polled 177,120 votes.

The result was officially announced on Wednesday night by the returning officer of the ADC presidential primary, Tunde Ogbeha.

The party disclosed that its total registered membership stood at 3,113,599, with 2,527,977 votes cast in the primary election.

However, the outcome of the exercise was met with rejection from Amaechi and Hayatu-Deen, who alleged irregularities, lack of transparency, and procedural violations. Both aspirants insisted that the process did not reflect fairness and raised concerns over reported voting inconsistencies.

Following his declaration as winner, Atiku called for unity within the party, stressing that there were “no winners and no losers” in the contest. He urged his opponents and all party stakeholders to close ranks and work together towards the 2027 general elections, emphasizing the need to strengthen the party’s platform for a stronger electoral showing.
