The drama unfolded after Burna Boy posted a video showing someone driving through Chiefpriest’s upscale Ikoyi neighborhood with an unsettling eye symbol. The incident prompted the concerned Chiefpriest to raise an alarm, asking Burna Boy if he was planning to harm him or kidnap his loved ones.

Taking to social media, Chiefpriest warned, “You’re driving past my house in Ikoyi, recording with an eye symbol. Are you planning to shoot me or kidnap my family? This childish behavior has gone too far.”

He made it clear that he had informed the Nigerian Police about the alarming situation, insisting that nothing should happen to his family. Chiefpriest also reminded Burna Boy that the police were already aware of the situation and that he would be ready to defend himself.

“I’m from Aba, I’ll fight till the end if you cross my line,” he stated. “Make sure nothing happens to my family. This is Ikoyi, not Ikate.”

In a separate development, Afrobeats artist Seun Kuti distanced himself from the ongoing feud between Burna Boy and Speed Darlington. Speed Darlington had recently claimed that Burna Boy’s Grammy win was connected to an illicit relationship with American music executive Diddy.

Kuti, responding to fan comments on Instagram, clarified that while Burna Boy had gifted him diamond jewelry, it did not mean he was involved in Burna Boy’s affairs. He further emphasized that Diddy, whom Speed Darlington had accused of being involved with Burna Boy, had been instrumental in making Speed Darlington famous in the first place.
