They’re Even More Confused Now Than At The Beginning” – Bwala Mocks ADC
According to Ireporter Online, Daniel Bwala, a presidential aide, has dismissed the possibility of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) forming a viable political coalition, arguing that the party’s structure and internal dynamics make it incapable of withstanding political pressure.
Bwala, in a post shared on , maintained that he had earlier predicted internal crisis within the party, insisting that recent developments have confirmed his position. He further claimed that the ADC is currently experiencing deeper confusion than at its earlier stage, attributing this to what he described as unresolved internal contradictions.
He criticised what he called excessive ambition among members of the party, alleging that multiple individuals within the ADC are driven by personal presidential aspirations, a situation he said weakens the party’s ability to function as a strong opposition platform.
The presidential aide also faulted the process through which the party’s leadership structure was formed, describing it as lacking cohesion and warning that such a foundation could not withstand political challenges. He further alleged that inconsistencies among members, frequent political realignments, and a lack of clear ideological direction were undermining the party’s credibility.
Bwala additionally questioned the motivations of the party’s leadership, suggesting that political desperation and self-interest could affect governance capacity if left unchecked. He maintained that these factors collectively reflect deeper structural weaknesses within the ADC.
Reiterating his earlier stance, Bwala insisted that the party has become increasingly disorganised compared to its starting point, claiming that his earlier prediction of internal collapse was now being validated by current events.
