According to Ireporter Online, actress and director Toyin Abraham has expressed profound gratitude after being recognized by the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) for achieving over N1 billion in box office revenue with her debut film, Oversabi Aunty.

The award ceremony was graced by NFVCB Director General Shuaibu Husseini and Olori Temitope Ogunwusi, wife of the Ooni of Ife. Abraham described the recognition as a “huge honour,” praising the esteemed status of the NFVCB and expressing appreciation for the award.

In a note shared on Instagram, she thanked her fans, known as Toyintitans, and her production partner Filmone for their support. She also highlighted Olori Temitope Ogunwusi’s presence, noting how the film had inspired her to reflect on family relationships.

Abraham emphasized that Oversabi Aunty is more than entertainment, calling it a wake-up call for families, particularly mothers, about the importance of nurturing children with care rather than anger. She concluded by promising more high-quality projects in the future, acknowledging the recognition as a milestone in her career.
