Unknown Gunmen Abduct Popular Comedian (PHOTO)

JUST IN: Port Harcourt Comedian, MC Dave Has Just Been Kidnapped By Unknown Gunmen – 9News Nigeria

Port Harcourt-based comedian, David Uwakwe, popularly known as MC Dave or Gbagamgbam, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen. The abductors are demanding a N25 million ransom for his release.

The incident occurred on Sunday, September 10, 2023, around the Rumukalagbo area of Rivers State.

Uwakwe was returning from a show he attended at the University of Port Harcourt area when he was abducted at approximately 2 am. The kidnappers, disguised as police officers with masked faces, recognized him and ordered him into a waiting vehicle.

The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the incident and stated that investigations have been initiated.
