VIDEO: Hanks Anuku’s Manager Breaks Silence On Actor’s Mental State

Fresh concerns over the mental health of veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku have been dismissed by his longtime manager, Moses Allen, who insists the actor is mentally sound despite a viral video that sparked widespread speculation on social media.

Reacting to the growing concerns, Allen said the public had rushed to conclusions without understanding the actor’s personality or artistic nature. He explained that Anuku is a deeply creative individual whose expressive behavior is often misunderstood by those unfamiliar with the mindset of artists.

The manager maintained that Anuku’s actions in the video should not be interpreted as signs of mental illness, stressing that creative people often express themselves differently from the average person. According to him, the actor simply operates from an imaginative perspective that may appear unusual to some observers.

Allen further described Anuku as a responsible family man who remains committed to his personal and professional life. He argued that there was nothing alarming about the actor sitting by the roadside, reflecting, speaking to himself, or appearing to rehearse, noting that such moments could simply be part of his creative process.

Defending the veteran actor, Allen said Anuku neither posed a threat to anyone nor displayed any violent or inappropriate behavior in the video. Instead, he believes the public misinterpreted an artistic moment as evidence of mental instability.

Reaffirming his confidence in the actor’s wellbeing, Allen stated that he has managed Anuku for several years and can confidently attest that the Nollywood legend is mentally stable. He added that Anuku is currently in one of the best mental states he has ever witnessed, urging the public to stop associating the actor’s unconventional personality with mental illness simply because he expresses himself differently.
