What Tinubu Will Be Credited For – Oshiomhole Speaks
Senator Adams Oshiomhole (APC Edo-North Senatorial District) has expressed his belief that the administration led by President Bola Tinubu will be remembered for transforming the socio-economic and political landscape of the nation.
Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the APC, conveyed to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Wednesday that Tinubu is already establishing a strong foundation for development.
He emphasized that the president has broken the tradition of FCT ministerial appointments by selecting Mr. Nyesom Wike as a minister.

“This step signifies that anyone, regardless of their place of birth, language, or dialect, can become the Minister of the FCT.
“In my view, one of President Tinubu’s groundbreaking decisions is to provide every region of Nigeria with hope that irrespective of origin, language, or dialect, one can become the Minister of the FCT.
“Many didn’t believe this could happen. We thank God for giving us a president who opens his doors to anyone seeking to meet him and share information.
“We are grateful to have a president who listens to anyone with something to tell him.
“No single tree makes a forest; the quality of ministers and their leadership in their respective ministries determine whether the government succeeds or not.
“May this administration be acknowledged for fixing what others couldn’t. This will be a government of action, not lamentation,” Oshiomhole stated.
He also praised President Tinubu for appointing Eng. Abubakar Momoh as the Minister of Niger Delta Development, seeing it as a great honor for Edo.
Oshiomhole commended Tinubu’s courage and consistency in ensuring that “every Nigerian counts and has the opportunity to become anything in any part of Nigeria.”
According to him, only under President Tinubu’s leadership has a citizen of Edo been chosen as the Minister of Niger Delta Development.
“The president deserves a standing ovation for the honor bestowed upon Edo, making a bold statement that anyone can achieve anything from any part of the country.
“As you can see, the president has broken several barriers; numerous achievements that former presidents, even military ones, could not accomplish.
“We take pride in the fact that during my tenure as a senator in the APC, Edo had the privilege of nominating the Minister of Niger Delta Development.
“Let us unite in praying for President Tinubu to continue to possess the energy, vision, courage, and above all, the open-mindedness to ensure that every Nigerian feels a sense of belonging,” Oshiomhole emphasized.
He congratulated Momoh, acknowledged his steadfastness and support within the APC, and urged him to enhance the value of the Niger Delta region.
Oshiomhole emphasized that the Niger Delta deserves to reap benefits from the region’s oil resources, as this will bring joy to the people and gratify the president.
He also extended gratitude to traditional rulers in the area for their presence at Momoh’s inauguration and wished that their blessings would remain with him.
