Describing the situation as “technical,” she clarified that while marriage is not currently part of their plans, their friendship and shared parenting values remain strong.

Seyi Shay revealed that her relationship with her child’s father is built on mutual respect and understanding, emphasizing that they have created a healthy co-parenting environment focused on their daughter’s happiness and development. “He’s great, he’s cool, he’s around. He’s Nigerian, based in the UK, and works in the corporate side of the music industry,” she said, adding that they work hand-in-hand in raising their child.

The singer highlighted that their bond goes beyond romantic ties, stressing that their maturity and cooperation have allowed them to maintain peace and balance as co-parents.
