It’s worth recalling that Commissioner of Police in Lagos, Idowu Owohunwa, mentioned during a press briefing that Naira Marley and Sam Larry were implicated in allegations of bullying and assaulting Mohbad while he was alive.
The circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death have been shrouded in controversy since he passed away on September 12, prompting a police investigation. The Lagos police carried out an autopsy on the late singer, but the results have yet to be released.
In response to the police statement, Ojo stated that: “If anyone checks very well, they will not be able to find any evidence to back up claims that Naira Marley bullied Mohbad.
‘’As for Naira Marley, I believe very strongly that no matter how hard you look, you will not find a single incident where Naira Marley bullied him.”
In his defense of Sam Larry, the lawyer asserted that the video circulating online, showing Sam Larry apparently confronting Mohbad during a music video shoot, does not accurately depict the actual situation.
