World Cup Play-Off: John Dumelo Vows To Walk From Accra To Lagos If Nigeria Beats Ghana
Popular Ghanaian actor John Dumelo has banked on his national football team to win today’s match against Nigeria.
He vowed to walk over 1,075 kilometers on barefoot from Accra to Lagos with ginger on his head the next day after the match if the Black Stars lose.
The 38-year-old politician expressed staunch confidence in the ability of the Black Stars of Ghana to come through victoriously.
“There’s no way Nigeria will win today’s match. If they do, I John Setor Dumelo, will walk barefoot from Accra to Lagos tomorrow morning with my ginger on my head. Super Eagles my foot”, Dumelo tweeted.

The Nigerian team has already touched down in Kumasi ahead of the first leg of their crucial Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier against the Black Stars of Ghana.
The welcome at the Kumasi international airport was said to be distasteful, as the Super Eagles players and officials had to employ different techniques to jump down from the plane as the ramp that was provided was too short for the aircraft.
The Ghanaian airport authorities have, however, apologised, stating that they were not prepared for the size of the aircraft that was conveying the Nigerian contingent.
With Ghanaians’ refusal to release their squad list for the doubleheader accompanied with the experience at the airport could, many fans think is one of their tricks to destabilise the Super Eagles.
