You Are One In A Million – South-South Coalition Drums Support For Saliu Mustapha As APC National Chairman

As the race for the APC national chairmanship position gathers momentum, an advocacy group within the APC, the South-South Coalition For Good Governance, SSCGG has drummed support for the Turaki of Ilorin, Mallam Saliu Mustapha to emerge as the next party chairman.

The leadership of the group, over the weekend in Asaba the Delta State capital converged to declare their unequivocal support for Mallam Saliu Mustapha as the next national chairman of the APC.

According to the group, of all the qualified chairmanship aspirants, Saliu Mustapha remains the most qualified with excellent track records and a nationwide appeal.

The National Coordinator of the group , Comrade Philip Isong said this in a briefing with reporters at Asaba.

Comrade Philip Isong said members of the group cut across the six states in the south-south and decided to meet at Asaba to drum up support for the chairmanship aspiration of Saliu Mustapha.

“Today we converged at Asaba to drum up support for Mallam Saliu Mustapha the frontline APC aspirant for the national chairmanship position, our interest is solely to see a better party governed with the ideologies of the founding fathers.

We can not continue the way things are going and need a genuine change in the running of the administration of our great party. We not only need a committed and dedicated leader who is ready to push the interest of the party and its members at all times, but we also need a party chairman who will touch lives.

No doubt of all the qualified aspirants seeking the office of the national chairman, Mallam Saliu Mustapha remains the most outstanding and qualified, his years of administrative experience in the running of party affairs makes him a good product. We are super confident that his stewardship would bring the needed tonic party members earnestly yearn for.

Mallam Saliu is one in a million, his humility, tolerance and discipline are what is needed at this stage to unite all party members and lead the party to a resounding victory in the coming 2023 general elections.”

Comrade Isong further noted that Mallam Saliu Mustapha has the requisite leadership qualities to make him the idea party chairman.

“Over the years, Mallam Saliu Mustapha has demonstrated quality leadership and selfless services to the people, he will do more if given the political will.”
