Nigerian music sensation Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa, widely known as Joeboy, has become a trending topic after revealing a private conversation with his mother, who urged him to consider marriage.

According to Ireporter Online, the Afropop star took to his official X page on Friday to share a screenshot of their WhatsApp exchange, captioning it with, “Can’t believe what I woke up to this morning.”

In the message, Joeboy’s mother commended his achievements in the music industry but reminded him that it was time to “blow into marriage.” She noted that while his peers were tying the knot, he seemed to be delaying, adding that she had even assured her friends that her son would be getting married soon.

Her words read in part: “All this your music, blowing up everywhere, enjoyment. Let me tell you, you have blown, no doubt about that. But when will you now blow into marriage? Your mates are doing wedding everywhere. What are you doing? I have told all my friends my son will get married soon.”
