Zamfara ADC Gubernatorial Candidate Debunks Rumours Of Exit From Race

According to Ireporter Online, the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Zamfara State, Mahadi Aliyu Gusau, has dismissed reports alleging that he has withdrawn from the governorship race.

Gusau, in a statement issued on Wednesday through his Press Secretary, Salisu Mohammed, described the reports as false, malicious, and misleading, insisting they were orchestrated by desperate political actors aiming to misinform the public and cause confusion within the political space.

The statement further emphasized that Gusau remains the authentic governorship candidate of the ADC in Zamfara State and has not stepped down from the contest nor authorized any individual or group to announce such a decision on his behalf.

It also urged party members, supporters, stakeholders, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and the general public to disregard any publication or social media post suggesting otherwise, maintaining that the claims were entirely baseless and should be ignored.
