BREAKING: Osun Tribunal Fixes Date For Judgement On Governorship Election

The Osun Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has set Friday, January 27, 2023 as the date for the delivery of judgment in the suit filed by the state’s former Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, challenging the incumbent, Governor Ademola Adeleke, in the state’s governorship election.

This was announced in a notice sent to all parties involved in the case by the tribunal’s Secretary, David Mike.

At the last sitting, held on January 13th, of this year, the tribunal took final address from all parties involved in the case and reserved judgment.

However, after the final addresses of counsels to the plaintiff, the first respondent – the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the second respondent – the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the third respondent – Governor Adeleke assured that the Judgement would be delivered in no distant time.
