How Community Leader Was Beheaded At Drinking Joint In Abia

Zachary Nmaduka, a community leader in Ezieke, Akpuka, Uturu, Abia State, also known as Power Zack, has been brutally killed, and his attackers took his head.

The Abia State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Maureen Chinaka, confirmed Nmaduka’s murder in a statement on Thursday.

As per the police report, the 70-year-old local leader was assaulted, shot, and decapitated by unidentified assailants while he was at a drinking spot in Amelechi Akpukpa Community.

The statement added, “Upon receiving this distressing information, a joint team comprising police and army personnel was swiftly dispatched to the scene.

“Tragically, they recovered Mr. Nmaduka’s lifeless body.

“Photographic evidence was captured at the scene, and the deceased’s remains were promptly evacuated and deposited at Marist Mortuary Uturu. Investigations are ongoing.”
