During the dynamic media engagement titled ‘Sanwo Speaks’, Governor Sanwo-Olu unveils a visionary plan to transition civil servants from levels 1 to 14 into a streamlined three-day workweek. This strategic initiative aims to bolster productivity while alleviating economic pressures faced by Lagosians.
Clarifying the operational framework, the governor outlines that employees on levels 15 to 17 will maintain a four-day workweek, ensuring seamless continuity in government operations.
Governor Sanwo-Olu underscores that this adjustment signifies an optimized utilization of resources rather than a complete shutdown of government functions.
Recognizing the vital role of education, the governor assures that teachers in public schools will uphold their customary five-day work schedule to sustain academic excellence.
