Kwara Launches “Free Monthly Patient Medication Review”
Kwara State Hospitals Management Board has commenced a Free Monthly Patient Medication Review across various hospitals in the State.
The Executive Secretary, Dr Abdulraheem Malik who made this known in a statement joined pharmacists at Cottage Hospital Ogidi to assist in the launching of the programme.
According to him, the programme is in line with the commitment of the State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to ensure excellent and prompt delivery of healthcare service to the people in the state.
He said, “Today, I dusted my white coat and wore it for the first time after over a year and a half of administrative responsibilities as Executive Secretary, Kwara State Hospitals Management Board who is designated by His Excellency to make sure all the 46 secondary care hospitals located in Kwara north, south and central deliver excellent and prompt healthcare service to the people.
“I joined the resident pharmacist at Cottage Hospital Ogidi to assist in the launching of the hospital’s “Free Monthly Patient Medication Review”.
