Heartfelt Condolences: Lagos Governor Mourns The Death Of Bisi Akande’s Son-In-LawOyedele Clement Akintola, the son-in-law of All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Bisi Akande, has passed away.

Naija News reports that Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced the news on his social media page on Friday.

Sanwo-Olu extended his condolences and prayed for the deceased’s soul to rest in peace, while also wishing the family strength during this difficult time.

He wrote, “On behalf of my family, the government, and the good people of Lagos, I want to express our heartfelt condolences to the family of our leader, Chief Bisi Akande, on the loss of his son-in-law, Barr. Oyedele Clement Akintola.

“The late Barr. Akintola was an epitome of humility and uprightness, and he was a pillar of support for his wife and children. His family will miss him greatly because of the vacuum his death has created.

“I pray that God will grant the late Barr. Oyedele Clement Akintola eternal rest and grant the family, particularly his wife and children, the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.”

My Government Cannot Solve Housing Challenges in Lagos

In other news, the government of Lagos State has acknowledged the enormity of the housing issues in the state, stressing that it cannot address them all.

State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made this clear on Tuesday while reiterating his administration’s commitment to narrowing the gap in housing availability.

Sanwo-Olu, speaking during the inauguration of the Lagos Building Investment Company and the Rising Lagos Apartment in the Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area, said, “I must commend and congratulate once again the leadership of LBIC and our Public Private Partner, WGC, for their dedication, innovative mindset, and excellence in bringing these projects to fruition for our citizens.

“Let me reiterate that the government alone cannot solve these housing challenges in Lagos. We will keep exploring innovative solutions. We will keep forming real, genuine partnerships.

“We will keep investing in sustainable development to ensure that as much as humanly possible, every Lagos resident who deserves it has access to decent and affordable housing.”
