Kashim Shettima Urges Nigerian Armed Forces to Elevate Vigilance and Strategic Leadership

Vice President Kashim Shettima has called for heightened vigilance and proactive leadership from the Nigerian Armed Forces to address the region’s security threats effectively.

At the Graduation Ceremony of Course 32 at the Nigerian Defence College in Abuja, Shettima delivered this message on behalf of President Bola Tinubu. His address underscored the administration’s commitment to creating a safe environment conducive to investment and economic growth.

Shettima emphasized the crucial role of strategic leadership in navigating Nigeria’s complex security landscape. He highlighted the government’s recognition of the importance of a well-equipped and responsive military in maintaining national security and fostering economic prosperity.

The graduation ceremony marked the successful completion of the course by 111 participants, including 19 from foreign countries, showcasing the program’s international scope.

In his speech, Shettima encouraged the graduates to embody the values of patriotism and dedication in their future roles. He also assured them that the Federal Government is committed to reviewing their key recommendations carefully. The administration plans to consider these insights to implement effective solutions that will enhance the nation’s security framework.
