Edo Decides 2024: Few Weeks To Election, LP’s Akpata Emerges Winner Of Public Opinion PollsBy Oshiobugie JohnIn the final weeks leading up to the Edo State governorship election, Olumide Osaigbovo Akpata of the Labour Party has emerged as the frontrunner in public opinion polls organized by BTV Television Network.
This poll serves as a testament to the widespread support Akpata has garnered from Edo voters, who recognize his visionary leadership and commitment to transforming the state. His lead in the poll reflects the confidence that the people have in his ability to deliver on his promises of economic revitalization, infrastructure development, and social welfare improvement.
In the BTV poll, Akpata received an impressive 4,527 votes, significantly outpacing his rivals. The distance was so substantial that even if the votes of his closest four competitors were combined, Akpata would still hold a commanding lead.

The BTV poll results are a strong indicator of the trust and confidence that the people of Edo have placed in him, and with continued support, Akpata is on track to secure a decisive victory.
