He expressed his deep commitment to the party, stating, “I have been with this party since its inception, and today I feel it is necessary to speak about its future.” George warned that the PDP is heading toward a potential crisis if critical internal issues are not addressed.

The PDP Board of Trustees (BoT) member decried the actions of some members who are undermining the party’s progress by aligning with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in preparation for the 2027 elections. He referred to these individuals as “chameleonic characters” who are jeopardizing the party’s integrity.

George urged the party to unite and focus on equity, fairness, and justice in order to avoid self-destruction in the upcoming election. He also called for a concerted effort to reclaim power from the APC in 2027, asserting that the PDP is the only party capable of saving Nigeria from its current crisis.

Addressing the political tensions in Rivers State between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, Minister of FCT Nyesom Wike, George urged Wike to reconcile and put the party’s unity first.

He concluded by appealing to the party’s elders, including former leaders such as Goodluck Jonathan and Bamanga Tukur, to take action and guide the PDP back on track. George stated, “We cannot afford to fail. Nigerians are looking to us for leadership in 2027, but we must first put our house in order.”
