After Tragic Tanker Explosion, President Tinubu Directs Immediate Transfer Of Victims To Top Medical Facilities

The victims of the Suleja petrol tanker explosion have been transferred to tertiary medical centers for better care, in accordance with President Bola Tinubu’s previous instructions.

Rabiu Ibrahim, Special Assistant to the Minister of Information and National Orientation on Media, confirmed this in a statement released to Naija News on Monday.

He revealed that 20 patients have been admitted to Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital in Abuja, while two others were moved to the Federal Medical Centre, Jabi, Abuja. All patients were accompanied by nurses and family members to ensure continuous care.

The Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation will continue to monitor the situation and provide timely updates to Nigerians.

The Niger State Government has expressed its appreciation to the Federal Government for its swift and effective response to the tragic incident.

Earlier, President Tinubu had expressed concern over the tanker explosion and ordered the immediate transfer of victims to tertiary healthcare centers for improved treatment.
