A high-level caucus meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is currently taking place at the Bauchi State Government Lodge in Abuja.

Originally slated for 7 p.m., the meeting was rescheduled following the sealing of the party’s National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) over unpaid ground rent and tenancy fees.

Earlier reports confirmed that FCTA officials stormed the premises on Monday and instructed the security personnel on site to contact those responsible, leading to the abrupt closure of the facility. The incident disrupted plans for the Board of Trustees (BOT) meeting, which was expected to precede the caucus gathering.
