First Stop — Kaa-Ataba Road and Bridge
Once abandoned and left to the mercy of time, the Kaa-Ataba Road and Bridge is now roaring back to life. Linking Khana and Andoni Local Government Areas, this vital corridor will drastically cut travel time, open up trade for fishermen and farmers, and end decades of isolation for thousands of residents. The Minister hailed the project as “a bridge to opportunity, unity, and sustainable economic growth.”

Stretching across the waterways, this bridge promises to revolutionize movement between Okrika and Borikiri, energizing commerce, boosting inter-community ties, and creating new pathways for investment. Engr. Momoh stressed that the oversight aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive to fast-track meaningful development in the Niger Delta.

Equipped with modern diagnostic centers, surgical theatres, emergency response units, and specialized wards, the hospital will eliminate the need for long-distance travel for quality care and serve as a major employer for medical professionals.
