First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Visits Aisha Buhari in Kaduna, Shows Solidarity
Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, paid a courtesy visit to Aisha Buhari, the widow of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, in Kaduna State on Friday. According to Ireporter Online, Mrs. Tinubu was accompanied by the spouses of several National Assembly members during the visit.
The meeting took place at the residence of the late president, weeks after Mrs. Tinubu’s trip to Daura, Katsina State. It was reported that Mrs. Aisha Buhari recently relocated to Kaduna after hosting guests in Daura following her husband’s passing.
According to Ireporter Online, senior officials from the Kaduna State Government warmly received Mrs. Buhari upon her arrival, reflecting the state’s respect and support for her during this period. Notable visitors to her new residence include the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II.
The visit underscores the ongoing solidarity among prominent Nigerian leaders and their families during times of mourning and transition, according to Ireporter Online.
