The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a continuous supply of clean banknotes, urging Nigerians to regard the Naira as a crucial emblem of national pride and identity, according to iReporter Online.

Speaking at the CBN Fair in Lagos on August 12, 2025, the Acting Director of Corporate Communications, Mrs. Hakama Sidi Ali, emphasized that the clean currency initiative is part of a broader strategy to bolster public confidence in the financial system and support economic stability, according to iReporter Online.
