Breaking: Abdulaziz Nyako Quits ADC, Rejoins APC In Adamawa
According to Ireporter Online, former Adamawa Central Senator Abdulaziz Nyako has officially left the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to rejoin the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), ending his brief tenure with the opposition party.
Nyako, widely known as “Commander,” announced his decision on Sunday, attributing his exit from the ADC to ongoing factional disputes within the party in Adamawa State. The former lawmaker had only joined the ADC a few months ago after departing from the APC, and his return signals another realignment in the state’s political landscape ahead of the upcoming election cycle.
Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri confirmed the development, describing the move as part of a broader effort to strengthen the APC’s structure in the state. Fintiri, who recently assumed leadership of the APC in Adamawa, emphasized that incorporating leaders with political experience and grassroots support is crucial to consolidating the party’s influence.
Nyako has completed all formalities to rejoin the APC and is now a card-carrying member of the party. He is also the son of former Adamawa State Governor Murtala Nyako, reinforcing his political lineage and influence in the region.
