I Don’t Care If We Never Work Together’ – Juliana Olayode On Funke Akindele
Nollywood actress Juliana Olayode has credited divine intervention for the restoration of her friendship with senior colleague Funke Akindele.
According to Ireporter Online, Juliana, in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, expressed her gratitude to God for their renewed bond. The actress revealed that she had prayed for years for the reconciliation, emphasizing that her focus was never on professional collaboration but on rekindling a personal connection.
Juliana explained that Funke had supported her during difficult moments in her life, which made restoring their friendship particularly important. She stated, “I am so grateful to God that we are besties again. All those years, I kept asking God in my prayers to restore our friendship. I didn’t care about working with her on a project again; I just wanted to freely spend time with her, laugh with her, and see her. My prayers were about the relationship, not about returning to a show, because she has always been there for me.”
