BBNaija’s Ilebaye Alleged Assault Case Gets Fresh Update

According to Ireporter Online, the Federal Capital Territory Police Command has placed Big Brother Naija All Stars winner, Ilebaye Odiniya, and her two younger brothers in protective custody following a domestic altercation involving their father, Emmanuel Odiniya.

Police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed that the reality TV star and her siblings were rescued after the incident and immediately taken for medical attention alongside their father, who also sustained injuries during the confrontation. She stated that the siblings are currently under police protection, while their father remains in custody and is receiving medical care.

Adeh further explained that investigations are ongoing and that formal questioning will commence once all parties involved are certified medically stable. She added that police operatives responded to a distress call in the early hours of Friday from a residence in Royal Anchor Estate, Wuye, Abuja, reporting an ongoing assault.

According to the police account, officers from the Wuye Division and the Department of Operations gained access to the property after initial difficulty due to a locked gate. Ilebaye was reportedly found with visible injuries and, along with her two brothers, was evacuated to a hospital for treatment.

The development follows the arrest of Emmanuel Odiniya after allegations of assault against his daughter, which reportedly drew public attention following the circulation of a viral video showing the BBNaija star in distress.

Meanwhile, family sources indicated that the incident stemmed from a disagreement during a visit by Ilebaye to see her younger brothers and discuss personal plans, which allegedly escalated into a heated confrontation.
