Mercy Aigbe Opens Up About Sh*cking Job Condition Set By Female Producer

Speaking during a recent event, the Nollywood star recounted how the unnamed producer questioned her identity and professional standing during a phone conversation. According to Aigbe, the producer insisted that she would only be considered for roles if she sought approval before accepting other acting engagements.

The actress explained that a production manager had initially contacted her about a potential role, but no further communication followed. In an attempt to clarify the situation, she reached out directly to the producer.

Aigbe said the producer responded dismissively, asking who she was and claiming the only “Mercy” she knew was Mercy Johnson. After introducing herself and explaining the reason for her call, Aigbe disclosed that she was asked where she was and informed the producer that she was on a movie set in Ibadan working on another project.

According to the actress, the producer then questioned why she was filming another movie without obtaining permission, suggesting that she needed authorization before accepting other jobs.
