Isaac Fayose’s Wife Passes Away After Courageous Cancer Battle

According to Ireporter Online, Fayose shared the heartbreaking news on his Instagram page, posting an image of a candle alongside a brief but emotional tribute to his late wife.

“Rest in peace my darling wife, odabo oyinbo mi,” he wrote.

Before her passing, Fayose had publicly spoken about the severity of her condition, revealing that he travelled to Australia to spend time with his family, only to find his wife in a critically weakened state.

He disclosed that the illness had rendered her unable to speak or perform everyday tasks. Fayose recounted that the woman who once welcomed him at the airport was no longer strong enough to do so, forcing him to travel home alone by Uber.

He also reflected on how their roles had changed, explaining that he had taken on the responsibility of caring for her, including preparing meals and spending quiet moments by her bedside singing her favourite songs, while she responded only by holding his hand.

In an emotional message, Fayose noted that wealth and material possessions were powerless in the face of illness and death. He stressed that no amount of money could prevent life’s inevitable realities and questioned the actions of individuals who exploit public office to enrich themselves at the expense of others.
