BREAKING: Tinubu Sweeps Zulum’s Ward With 2,175 Votes In APC Primary

President Bola Tinubu secured an overwhelming victory in Mafa Ward of Borno State during the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary conducted ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to reports monitored by Ireporter Online, Mafa Ward is the political base of Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, who participated in the exercise alongside other party members.

The direct primary election took place at Mafa Central Primary School under the supervision of the Chairperson of the Presidential Primary Election Committee, Hajiya Inna Alkali Imam.

Results announced from the ward showed that Tinubu polled all 2,175 valid votes cast, while his opponent, Stanley Osifo, an APC stalwart and businessman from Edo State, failed to secure any vote.

Party officials disclosed that Mafa Ward has a total of 2,277 registered APC members, with 2,175 members successfully accredited for the exercise.

Governor Zulum, who also serves as the APC Coordinator and Collation Officer for the presidential primary in Borno State, explained that he was present in the ward to observe and participate in the voting process.

Speaking after casting his vote, the governor expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise, commending the peaceful atmosphere and impressive turnout recorded during the primary.

He noted that the large participation of party members reflected strong support for President Tinubu within the ward, adding that all accredited voters endorsed the President’s candidacy while the second contestant received no vote.

The APC presidential primary is currently ongoing across various states of the federation, with the party expected to officially announce the final nationwide results at a later date.
