Osun Election: Davido Alleges Police Arrest Of PDP Chairman Sunday Bisi

Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has alleged that the Nigeria Police Force arrested the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State, Sunday Bisi, during Saturday’s governorship election.

Davido claimed that Bisi was arrested at his residence in Ilesa at about 2 p.m. after police officers reportedly stormed the property.

According to Ireporter Online, the singer made the allegation in a post on his official X account while voting was ongoing across Osun State.

Davido alleged that the police accused the PDP chairman of moving around on election day, while questioning why the same security agency had allegedly failed to act against suspected political thugs harassing voters.

The singer wrote that Bisi was arrested at his Ilesa residence and expressed concern over the development, alleging that the arrest was inconsistent with the handling of other reported incidents during the election.
