2023 Presidential Election: See Lagos Final Result

Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, defeated the All Progressives Congress’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in Lagos, Tinubu’s home state.

Despite winning more local governments, Obi defeated Tinubu with the majority of votes cast.

The results of all 20 local governments have been announced. Tinubu won 11 local governments, while Obi won nine.

The local governments won by Tinubu include Agege, Apapa, Badagry, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, Surulere and Mushin.

Obi won Eti-Osa, Amuwo Odofin, Ikeja, Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, Alimosho, Ojo, and Somolu.

Obi received 582,454 votes, while Tinubu received 572,606 votes, according to the results. Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, finished third with 75,750 votes.

Professor Adenike Oladiji, the state’s Returning Officer, announced the results.
