2023: See What Happened To Wike’s Deputy At Rivers West PDP Primary Election
Deputy Governor of Rivers, Dr Mrs Ipalibo Harry Banigo, has won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket for the Rivers West Senatorial Primaries election.
The Deputy Governor was returned unopposed in the PDP Senatorial primaries election conducted at the Rivers West Senatorial district in Ahoada on Monday.

Dr Harry is to replace Senator George Thompson Sekibo who is presently representing the district in the Senate.
Governor Nyesom Wike had in the couple of weeks ago endorsed her Deputy Governor for the Rivers West Senatorial district.
Similarly Chief Alwell Onyeso a former Commissioner of Education in the State has been elected as the Candidate of PDP for Rivers East Senatorial District of Rivers State.
