2023: Why We May Relocate To Cameroon If Peter Obi Loses – Babachir Lawal
Babachir Lawal, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, has stated that if the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, loses the upcoming 2023 presidential election, he and other political heavyweights will relocate to Cameroon.
Lawal revealed this on Monday in Abuja during an interactive session with Obi and the LP’s stakeholders from the North East.

Lawal, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, expressed surprise that the party had not expelled him despite his opposition to APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu.
“We want (Obi) to win this election and must win this election. If we lose this election, we’ll all migrate to Cameroon because of the shame and disgrace of failure to win,” he said.
Given the current state of the country, he believes Obi must win the presidential election next year.
