Former Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba, has called on the people of Cross River State to support and re-elect President Bola Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at an endorsement rally organized by the Central Progressive Initiative (CPI) in Ikom Local Government Area on Tuesday, Ndoma-Egba praised the performance of both leaders, stating that they have shown commitment and competence since taking office.

Ndoma-Egba, who is the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), emphasized the importance of political stability and continuity in governance. He noted that Cross River has long maintained a tradition of rotating the governorship across its senatorial districts and allowing incumbents to complete two terms.
