Adams Oshiomhole: A Sure Path To Development For Edo North Senatorial District

When Nigerians go to the polls next year to elect their representatives for various political offices, one factor that should be on everyone’s mind is the ability to elect leaders who will shoulder the responsibility of the people in this difficult global economic meltdown.

Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, the APC candidate for Edo North Senatorial District and former Edo State Governor, has a robust story to tell as he seeks the votes of his constituents to represent them in the National Assembly.

As a former governor of the state, Adams Oshiomhole’s work speaks for itself; in the educational sector, he achieved milestones in terms of projects.

The former Labour leader built not a hundred but over seven hundred brand-new classrooms, renovated more than a thousand others, and built perimeter fences for more than a hundred schools with the donation of over 100,000 school desks and chairs.

Adams Oshiomhole’s administration built standard and fully equipped libraries across the three senatorial districts, among many other educational projects.

Oshiomhole never performed poorly in the health sector; in fact, he was spectacular in the provision of health care facilities.

He oversaw the reconstruction of the central hospitals in Benin City, Sabongida Ora, and Agenebode. Renovation and furnishing of the Sickle Cell Center (SCC), construction of 80-bed hostels at the School of Health Technology in Benin City, and construction of staff quarters in Primary Health Centers (PHCs) and provision of furniture, computers, and sick bay equipment.
