Nigeria imports 350 million liters of ethanol annually while the demand is about 2 billion liters leaving a gap of 1.65 million liters. Corn and cassava are the raw materials for producing ethanol. Ethanol is used for making all alcoholic drinks, perfumes, and body lotions. Talk of job creation and youth empowerment. Here lies the future of youth engagement.

I was therefore privileged to be a guest at the commissioning of CasaChem Global Limited’s multi-million ethanol plant on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in Epe, Lagos State founded by my friend and long-standing business associate Dr. Fubara Dan-Jumbo.

Edo state is supposed to be an agro-driven economy. Dear youth in Edo, here lies the wealth of our future. A fusion of agriculture, production/conversion, and export. This is the real deal. I will deliver on this.
