Akpabio Debunks Claims Senator Musa Was Embarrassed in Senate

Akpabio clarified that during the session, Senator Abdul Ningi had raised a point of order, which necessitated immediate procedural attention, in accordance with Senate rules. This, he said, had nothing to do with any confusion or inability on the part of Senator Musa.

“The session continued without any breach of decorum. Senator Musa was neither embarrassed nor unable to respond,” the Senate President added.

Senator Musa’s Contributions Recognised
Senator Musa currently serves as Chairman of the Joint Committee on Finance and recently led the Conference Committee that harmonised the Tax Reform Bills, a legislative achievement lauded by both chambers and external stakeholders.

Akpabio praised Musa’s role, saying his leadership reflected the Senate’s commitment to efficient and impactful legislation.

Akpabio Warns Against Sensationalism
