For the commissioning of its revolutionary solar hybrid mini grid project in Okpokunu, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, scheduled for February 16, 2024.

The project, spearheaded by Safagha Renewable Energy Limited, is designed to bring light to more than 595 homes in Okpokunu, a community that has been grappling with the absence of electricity since the devastating floods of 2012. The commissioning event represents a significant stride toward alleviating the energy deficit in the region.

Mr. Godbless Safugha, CEO of Safagha Renewable Energy Limited, expressed gratitude for the minister’s steadfast support, underscoring the transformative impact the solar hybrid mini grid project has had on the community.
