APC Unveils Full Timetable, Activity Schedule For 2027 Elections (Details Inside)

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially unveiled its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 General Elections, outlining key dates and procedures for its internal election processes.

According to Ireporter Online, the schedule was contained in a document signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu. It details the timeline for screening of aspirants, appeals processes, and the conduct of primary elections, alongside guidelines for the purchase of nomination and expression of interest forms.

The party also announced the fees for various elective positions, with the presidential nomination form pegged at ₦100 million, while governorship aspirants are required to pay ₦50 million. Senate hopefuls will pay ₦20 million, House of Representatives aspirants ₦10 million, and candidates for State House of Assembly seats ₦6 million.

In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a credible, transparent, and fair primary election process, describing it as part of efforts to strengthen internal democracy within the party and uphold its progressive principles.

The timetable indicates that the sale of nomination forms will commence on Saturday, April 25, 2026, and end on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Screening of aspirants for State Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives, and Senate, as well as governorship positions, is scheduled to take place between May 6 and May 8.

The presidential screening exercise is slated for Saturday, May 9, while the presidential primary election will be held between May 15 and May 16, 2026.

Meanwhile, the party has released the full schedule of activities as part of preparations for the 2027 general elections.
