Former Osun State Governor and ex-Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has refuted circulating reports claiming he traveled to France to meet with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Our attention has been drawn to a misleading report circulating on social media alleging that Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is presently in France for a meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Fasure stated. “We wish to firmly clarify that the report is entirely untrue. Ogbeni Aregbesola remains in Abuja and has not embarked on any international travel.”

The former governor urged the public to disregard the unfounded claims and described the reports as baseless fabrications intended to mislead the public.

In a related development, Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Tinubu, also addressed circulating rumors suggesting that the President had traveled to France for medical reasons.
