The arrest, conducted by troops from the 93 Battalion under 6 Brigade, revealed startling connections to high-profile criminals, including the late Hana Terwase’s second-in-command.

Army spokesperson Lieutenant Oni Olubodunde disclosed that Igohia, 31, had ties to violent extremist groups in southern Taraba and had been previously married to prominent criminals such as Terkibi Gemaga and the late Gana Terwase.

In a simultaneous operation, troops also captured a notorious gunrunner, Joshua Dutse Idah, who was involved in arms trafficking and supplying weapons to criminals across Taraba and beyond.
