Atiku, who ran as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, voiced his disappointment, emphasizing that the outcome was not what he and other Arsenal fans had anticipated, especially considering the team’s quest for victory in the Premier League.

Taking to his official social media handle on Sunday, Atiku shared his sentiments on the match, labeling the result as frustrating for the team and its supporters.

Despite the setback, Atiku reaffirmed his unwavering support for the club, expressing confidence in their capacity to bounce back from the defeat.

In addition, he advised his son, Mustapaha Abubakar, against premature celebration, reminding him that the league title race is far from over.
