Bandits Abduct Qur’an Recitation Champion And Family Following Meeting with Gov Dikko
Abdulsalam Rabi’u Faskari, a renowned Qur’an recitation champion, and his family have been abducted by armed bandits near Labin Bangori, Katsina State. Rabi’u, a medical student at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, had secured first place in the male category for memorizing 60 Hizbs of the Qur’an.
The attack has raised significant concern over the growing insecurity in the region. Security analyst Bakatsine shared the news on his official X handle.
Authorities have not yet issued a statement regarding efforts to secure the release of the victims.
