“Becoming A Musician Has Always Been My Dream,” Says BBNaija Star Liquorose

According to Ireporter Online, former Big Brother Naija housemate and renowned dancer, Roseline Omokhoa Afije, widely known as Liquorose, has disclosed that music has always been her first love. She made the revelation during a conversation with media personality VJ Adams, explaining that she had been deeply committed to pursuing music long before her rise to fame on the BBNaija reality show.

Liquorose noted that she spent a significant amount of time recording and working in the studio prior to joining the show, describing herself as “very hungry” to create music. She admitted that her passion for sound runs deep and that she had actively been taking steps toward establishing herself as a musician.

While the reality star acknowledged that acting currently feels like a comfortable and secure space for her, she stressed that the desire to fully explore her musical side remains strong. She described herself as a poet and writer, adding that her ability to craft words fuels her creativity in music.

Liquorose stated that the world has yet to experience the musical dimension of her talent, promising that her sound will go beyond dance rhythms to offer meaningful expression. She hinted at her versatility, saying she can experiment with genres such as dancehall and rap, even though she does not compare herself to powerhouse vocalists like Beyoncé. According to her, she is confident in her artistic ability and believes she can “hold her own” in the industry.
