Bitcoin Reclaims $80K After 3 Months, Holders Eye $2,500 Daily Gains
Bitcoin has staged a strong recovery, climbing more than 30% from its recent lows and reclaiming the $80,000 level as renewed investor demand and strong inflows into US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) boosted market sentiment. Reuters reported that Bitcoin moved above $80,000 on August 25, reaching its highest level in about three months.
According to market reports, US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded approximately $1.92 billion in net inflows during the week ended August 21, marking their strongest weekly performance since October 2025. The surge in institutional demand came as Bitcoin gained more than 20% in a single week.
The rally has also been linked to changing expectations around US Treasury policy. Reports indicate that plans to increase buybacks of longer-dated government bonds have contributed to a weaker dollar and renewed interest in alternative assets such as Bitcoin and gold.
The latest recovery represents a major turnaround from Bitcoin’s decline earlier in the year. The cryptocurrency had fallen sharply before rebounding, with its latest move above $80,000 marking its first return to that level since May.
However, claims that Bitcoin holders can “easily earn $2,500 a day” through a particular cryptocurrency platform should be treated with caution. The material supplied promotes EiCrypto and makes claims of fixed or unusually high daily returns, but those claims are not established by the market reports cited above. Investors should independently verify any platform’s regulatory status and avoid treating advertised returns as guaranteed.
The broader cryptocurrency market nevertheless appears to be benefiting from renewed institutional participation, stronger ETF demand and improving sentiment. Analysts have cautioned that the recovery still needs to demonstrate sustained momentum before it can confidently be described as the beginning of a new bull market.
